About our Grab Bags
- Keep the bag as long as you want
- Takes up less room than a skip
- All orders placed before 1pm can be delivered next day ( monday to friday )
Where to place your GBM Grab Bag
- Bags should always be placed on private property, and not on the public highway or footpath.
- All bags should be placed no more than 4 metres from where the lorry can park to lift away your bag.
- Please check for overhead cables when placing your bag in the desired location.
What to put in your GBM Grab Bag
- The bags and the crane on the collection lorry both have a maximum lifting capacity - please see below:
- 1-yd bag: 1 tonne
- 2-yd bag: 1 tonne
- 4.5-yd bag: 1.75 tonne
- 1-yd bags can be used for soil and rubble.
- 2-yd and 4.5-yd bags must not be used for soil and rubble or any other heavy materials as the bag will not be able to be lifted.
- As with most waste companies, hazardous waste cannot be placed in the bag. This includes:
- NO asbestos, hazardous waste, fridges, gas bottles, tyres, paints, oils
If any of the above is not complied with, your GBM Grab Bag may not be able to be collected.
